Timeline to Update/ Validate UDIN on e-filing website has been extended to 31.05.2022

Income Tax department has extended timeline to validate/ update UDIN on e-filing website from 30.04.2022 till 31.05.2022.

However, people are still facing issues while updating/ validating UDIN on e-filing website wherein the same Chartered Accountant is able to validate UDIN for one client and not able to validate it for another client.

UDIN Resolutions by ICAI on problem faced by Chartered Accountant: Please retry today to update UDIN in income tax portal. If problem still error persist, then, Complain to UDIN Directorate, ICAI: If problem persists, you should also raise a complain on UDIN portal :

It is important to note that no circular or notification has been issued till now by Income tax department to extend such due date. It has been extended just by way of update on e-filing website.
