What is Intimation order u/s 143(1)?
In a nutshell you can say that intimation order u/s 143(1) is a preliminary assessment/ processing of your return of income filed by you by Income Tax department. From past few years such processing of your return is done by Central Processing Centre (CPC) (on computer), situated in Bangalore. All the return filed need to processed and in mostly all cases intimation u/s 143(1) is issued and if in some cases it is not issued then acknowledgement of return of income can be assumed as intimation.
