No custom duty on ventilators, face mask etc

Amid corona virus pandemic, ministry of finance has taken one more step to make the fight against corona virus easy by removing basic custom duty and health cess on various items as listed below till 30.09.2020:

Ventilators.

Face masks, surgical masks.

Personal protection equipment (PPE).

Covid – 19 Test kits.

Inputs for the manufacture of above items.
