Member ID-card is issued by ICAI as and when a person after qualifying his CA exams apply for membership with ICAI.
He receives the member ID-card along with the letter containing his membership number. It is useful for availing various offers brought in by ICAI along with different retailers and brands.
In this post let’s discuss how you can request for duplicate Member ID-card in case you have lost your original card:
- You need to write an application for issue of duplicate Member ID-card.
- Passport size photograph.
- DD of Rs. 118/- (including GST) in favor of “The secretary, ICAI” payable at your regional branch i.e. if you are from central region the DD would be payable at Kanpur.
- You need to send the above application along with all annexure’s to the Regional branch i.e. in case of central region you need to send it to:

(Central Regional office)
ICAI bhawan, Plot no. 9, Block A1, Lakhanpur, Kanpur,
Uttar Pradesh, 208024.
