DGFT i.e. Directorate general of Foreign Trade make foreign trade policy and Foreign trade policy needs amendments every five years and aims at developing export capability, improving export performance and structure, encouraging foreign trade, and creating a suitable balance of payments position.
Due to covid the Foreign Trade policy for 2015-2020 was extended till 30.09.2021 but now DGFT is asking suggestions for the new foreign trade policy i.e. for the period 2021-2026 which is as under:
The Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020), was extended till 30 September 2021. In order to prepare a new five year Foreign Trade Policy, suggestions/inputs are invited from various stakeholders.
To collate, analyze and for ease of processing the suggestions/inputs received, a Google Form has been created on the following link
2. The above link shall be valid upto 31.7.2021. Stakeholders including Export Promotion Councils (EPCs), Trade/Industry Bodies/Associations, Commodity Boards, RAs and members of trade, industry are requested to send their suggestions/inputs only through above-mentioned Google Form, rather than email or paper based submissions on or before 31.7.2021.
