DGFT has again extended due date for update/ modification of IEC to 31.08.2021

DGFT had vide notification no. 58/2015-2020 Dt. 12.02.2021 made made it mandatory that an IEC code holder needs to ensure that details in IEC code are updated annually between April to June and even if there is no change in IEC details same needs to be also confirmed online.

DGFT has again announced to extend the due date to modify IEC code to 31.08.2021 from earlier extended due date of 31.07.2021.

The above extension has been provided vide notification no. 16/2015-20 Dt. 09.08.2021.

Note: If you had applied for IEC code in offline mode or before June/ July 2020 you will have to again register on DGFT website, link the IEC code and then update your IEC code.

Also, if you find error in DSC or Aadhar signature while signing the application to Link IEC code as mentioned above then you will have to create organization based or DGFT based Digital signature and then apply.
